The register contains data about customers, potential customers and persons interested in the company's products.

Purpose of use of personal data

The register is used to manage and develop customer relations and to sell and market products.

A customer’s registered data is used in Tuohi Jewelry direct marketing unless she/he has forbidden such use.

All personal data is processed according to EU General data protection regulation and the Finnish Data protection act.

Personal data is used on the basis of a registered customer relation (e.g. purchase orders made) and explicit approval (e.g. permission to direct marketing given at a trade fair).    

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

      When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

      We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

      Right to deletion

      The data subject has the right to request the deletion of data if personal data processing is not necessary. We will handle the request for deletion and proceed to either delete the data or state a justified reason for not being able to delete the data.

      It should be noted that the controller may have legal or other rights to not delete the requested data. The controller is obligated to preserve accounting materials for the duration (10 years) set out in the Accounting Act (Chapter 2, Section 10). For this reason, materials related to accounting cannot be deleted before that term has expired.

      Withdrawing consent

      If the processing of personal data is only based on the data subject’s consent and not, for instance, on a customer relationship or membership, the data subject may withdraw consent.
